Burden Down With Trouble
We’ve all heard that “ignorance is bliss”, and often believe that what we don’t know can’t hurt us.
I for one have experienced just the opposite, I was completely caught off guard when I felt like I was ambushed. It’s in these times we must rely upon Jesus’ word, “Peace I leave with you, MY PEACE I GIVE TO YOU…” (John 14:27). This kind of assurance or peace comes from the life-giving Word that is spoken. I have no doubt He spoke that in a difficult situation I faced and the moment I received HIS PEACE my whole perspective. In fact, I think my whole countenance changed.
I challenge you today if you’re facing trouble or fear or confusion, run to the source of peace. He provides contentment even when you’re without answers. The key is you must be “looking unto Jesus” (Hebrews 12:2) because He is where peace comes from. It’s a choice you and I can make in times of uncertainty or trouble to “LET NOT YOUR HEART BE TROUBLED” (John 14:27).
