Grow To Your Potential
A plaque I was given early on in ministry says, “Your potential is God’s gift to you, but what you do with it is your gift back to Him.” Few people really dedicate themselves fully to their life’s purpose. Instead settle for much less than they were destined for.
Consider these four suggestions in growing toward your potential:
- Concentrate on one main goal. Don’t become scattered in too many directions – FOCUS!
- Concentrate on continual improvement. This is key to reaching your potential.
- Forget the past. Jack Hayford, pastor of Church on the Way in Van Nuys, California, said, “We can’t gain any momentum moving toward tomorrow if we are dragging the past behind us. Learn from your mistakes but move on.
- Focus on the future. You can become better tomorrow than you are today.
