Prayer

Jesus told His disciples, “THIS IS HOW YOU SHOULD PRAY…” Luke 11:2

Prayer isn’t a big mystery.  It’s a matter of talking, and then listening; telling God what we’re thinking, and then seeking His thoughts; sharing what we need, and then asking Him what’s best.

Prayer is the language of our relationship.  The better we know Him, the easier the conversation flows.  I talk with Him as I talk with a friend.  Another step in the process involves Scripture, which reveals to us His character.  He’s a loving Father and Scripture reveals that His shoulders are strong enough that I can lean on Him.  The Word describes Him as forgiving, therefore He wants to help in our times of crisis.  It is revealed in the Bible that He’s understanding and constantly building our character…and, He is just and often times must deal with the wrongs of the world. 

Take the chance to talk to Him today.  He is listening!
