Freedom in Christ

Galatians 5:1 Says, It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.

In an attempt to assure equal opportunities and rights to all men, the Civil Rights Movement was birthed. Long before any of that, Jesus Christ came, the Savior of the world, to provide the same thing. Providing access to a Holy God was His mission.

Because of our relationship in Christ, we are all the same.  There is no slave, free, foreigner, we are all equal. We are all born of the same spirit and God loves us all the same.

So, in Galatians 5, Paul teaches that through the work of the cross – there’s FREEDOM!  Regardless of our family history or nationality – WE ARE FREE! I encourage you today to experience the empowerment that this brings into the life of the believer.
