Victory Is Mine

A photo that is renown in U.S. history and was taken on August 14, 1945.  The photo is entitled, “V-J Day in Times Square”, capturing a young sailor who just return from war, kissing a nurse in a moment of excitement.  The background is filled with folks celebrating the fact that the Japanese have surrendered and World War II has ended.

There is obvious celebration in those moments of victory involving a nation or country.  But as followers of Christ, we don’t have to wait for such occasions to be happy.  We have joy available each and every day because God has made us victorious over all things – including sin and death.

It’s a new day in the Lord.  Spread His Word and CELEBRATE!  Victory is YOURS! The battle has already been won!
