God-Sized Challenge
“And it happened, when all our enemies heard of it, and all the nations around us saw these things, that they were disheartened in their own eyes; for they perceived that this work was done by our God.” Nehemiah 6:16
Before anything else, a leader must be COMMITTED! In this passage, Nehemiah was not only committed, but he brought it out in the others surrounding him and the walls were completed in 52 days, despite their adversity. Nehemiah responded, “When all our enemies heart of it, and all the nations around us saw the things….they were very disheartened in their own eyes; for they perceived that his work was done by our God.” WOW! What a great testimony! May this be the response our onlookers in regards to our Kingdom efforts!
Leaders who complete a task possess these four characteristics:
· Compelling purpose: They make a great commitment to a great cause.
· Clear perspective: They don’t let fear cloud their view of the future.
· Continual prayer: They pray about everything and gain God’s favor.
· Courageous persistence: They move ahead despite the odds.
Let me encourage you to cultivate these characteristics so that you will give the best opportunity for success.
