Transformed
One of my all-time favorite hymns reads, “How marvelous! How wonderful! And my song shall ever be, how marvelous! How wonderful is my Savior’s love for me!”
In my recent travels across the pond, I visited some of the most spectacular places on the globe. I saw historic sites that blew my mind and viewed places that were only a concept of my imagination. Having been privileged enough to personally experience a few of the seven wonders of the world, like the Grand Canyon and Mount Everest, their grandeur left me speechless.
These places, they testify to the magnificence of our Creator. Still, the greatest work He ever performed is within each individual, transformed by His grace. God has taken our sin-sick souls, our messed-up lives, and made something beautiful. Through our heartache, He has carved out vast valleys with rivers flowing forth. He has revitalized desolate deserts of the soul, replanting them with lush gardens inside that continue to grow, through the help of the Holy Spirit who leads, guides, teaches, comforts, and corrects us.
I am in awe of His wondrous works! I love Him!
