I’ve Fallen and I Must Get Back Up
Judges 3:7-9, says, “So the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the Lord. They forgot the Lord their God...Therefore the anger of the Lord was hot against Israel and He sold them into the hand of Cushan-Rishathaim king of Mesopotamia, and the children of Israel served Cushan-Rishathaim eight years. When the children of Israel cried out to the Lord, the Lord raised up a deliverer from the children of Israel, who delivered them.”
Austin O’Malley said, “The fact that you have been knocked down is interesting, but the length of time you stay down is important.”
In life you will have problems! Trust me! Are you going to give up and stay down, settling for defeat or get back up? If you fall, get up and recognize what caused you to fall, learn from it, and get back to business.
Henry Ford said, “Failure is the opportunity to begin again more intelligently.” Makes me think of the lyrics to a song we sang years ago, “just when things look hopeless, He reaches out His hand because God delivers again!” TAKE HIS HAND in your hand and let Him lead! Stay in sync with Him and continue the journey until it’s complete!
